What is Lycra Binding?

A lycra binding is a small foldover elastic cloth which is  used to complete the edge of a bigger part of cloth. Lycra binding is normally made with fabrics which can be stretched like an elastic. In the garment industry Lycra fabric is cut in 20-40 mm wide strips.

Where is it used?

This binding is used to complete the hem, collar or cuff on a fleece sewing project in the garment factory.
